2020 RECAP

As the pandemic of COVID-19 continues to ravage our world, so do deaths related to drug overdoses. Through August 14, of this year, the American Medical Association is reporting that more than forty states have reported increases in opioid related deaths. One state has seen a 133% rise over last years numbers.* The need for help is now greater than ever. This is why we do what we do! This is also why we need your help to continue doing it.

What kind of a price-tag do you put on a life transformed or a family that has been reconciled to their long, lost, loved one. There is still time for you to be part of the solution to helping someone overcome their life-controlling addiction. It’s up to you to be the hands and feet of Jesus and help us continue to make a difference here in Southeast Texas.

We have come to our last segment for our vitural fundraiser – Voices of SUCCESS. We appreciate each and everyone that has contributed to this cause. Unfortunately, we have not received the response we had hoped for. The good news is it’s not too late for you to be part of this campaign. You can continue to give anytime on our website as well as our Facebook page. Anyone can still give a gift to help those going through recovery from addictions and other life-controlling issues. We can’t do this without generous donors like you, that have made a difference to someone in need. Thank you!

Segment #1

September is National Recovery Month. The Dream Center of Southeast Texas is participating in bringing awareness and celebrating with those that have overcome addictions.

Due to covid-19, we were unable to have our annual sit down dinner fundraiser. Instead, we will be having a virtual fundraiser for everyone to still get involved and “Be the Difference”. Below you will hear from our Founders and a success story from one of the men in our SUCCESS program.

Segment #2

We are currently in our virtual fundraiser month with “Voices of SUCCESS” for National Recovery Month. Here is another SUCCESS story from one of the guys in our program…

Segment #3

In this segment, we hear from a family member of one of the guys in our program. Addictions not only affects the person struggling with it, but also it affects the entire family. Our previous segment, we heard from Ryan. Now his father will share his perspective. Hear this touching story of a father and son.

Segment #4

As we continue with our Voices of SUCCESS fundraiser for National Recovery Month, we want to share a video from a volunteer’s perspective. Volunteers are so important to the SUCCESS of the Dream Center. We love and appreciate each volunteer that comes out to help us.

Segment #5

Part of Recovery is finding a support group. Celebrate Recovery plays a key role in helping people through their recovery. Here is the Celebrate Recovery Director at the Dream Center of Southeast Texas.

Please consider giving to help others become a SUCCESS story like those in these videos.

Thank you and God Bless you!
